Gotta love that Trench Warfare!
Today in World Wars we got to see a video reenactment of the Battle of Passchendaele. I thought the video itself was very informative. Even though that ending was totally unrealistic, it was still a very good film. I liked the way that the director showed the fight scenes ,and how he got an up close shot at all the hand to hand combat. I was talking with my table mate Brian Berger ,and we both felt that you don't here as much about WW1 as you would WW2. Now I know that WW2 has a bigger impact on people ,but at the same time I wish more people knew about some of these terriable battles ,and maybe not so much about the WW2 Holocaust.

Right on - I liked your reflection on the attention not given to WWI. It was brutal and it seems that it is eclipsed by Hitler and the the Second. Maybe it's the same thing with the Armenian Genocide because of the Holocaust?
